Classic blades that can be opened one handed

I'm looking for any suggestions in a classic design that are easy to open one handed. I have a Case Russlock CV and I'm working on getting a Trapperlock, but I was wondering if there are any other makers that offer bone handles bolsters and all that good stuff. I really like look of GEC but the only option seems to be the Jack pattern of some sort where I can pinch the blade and flick out the handle. However, I see this as a less than optimal opening method, as it's not safe for people or the knife, accidents happen. Thank you in advance for the help.

The Trapperlock is a great choice. When I got my first one (CV with Delrin scales) I was amazed at how easily it opened. It is by far the easiest opening Case knife I have ever owned, easier than the Russlock. Its my main EDC knife. I even went back and got a second one, so now I have one for show and one for go! You won't regret a Trapperlock.

I can actually open my benchmade small summit (a lock back) by just thumbing it open. Even has a woody looking scale to complement it.

Huckleberry Boys Knife from Tidioute with one armed razor style blade opens just fine with one hand. The cut-out on the end of the blade will hook on your pocket and allow it to be opened quite easily. I didn't think I'd like it because I figured that cutout would find it's way under my nail in my pocket, but it hasn't bit me yet...I'm looking for another now with bone or kirinite scales, the wood scales on the one model 15 I have looks nice, just not my style.

Hope this helps.

i myself thought it was a razor blade but it turns out the design is simply to allow one-handed opening. it's called "one armed soldier."

The Case Trapperlock and the Boker Trapper Liner knives are one hand opening. So is the Boker Copperliner. The Buck Solitaire has a handle too long for the blade and is easy to open by catching the handle on your pocket and pulling the knife open.

Boker Copperliner is my favorite. Thumb stud for easy opening. It is a little bit shorter than the trapperliner. 2.75" closed. Just under 6.5" open. I think it's perfect for carrying in the office or for field use. It's my vote for best classic pocket knife with easy one hand opening.
