Classic Buck 110

I was watching that one myself. Its an early one for sure. The design was changed when too many of them self destructed. To find one that is still together, and not used to death, is a great find. I would love to see one like that with the box and paperwork, might add another $100 to the value! Crazy when you consider that they originally sold for $16.00!

WOW.
I was watching that one too. Can you imagine 650 lookers !! I am surprised he didn't get even more bidders. If he had a higher than (2) eBay feedback score, I'd bet the bids would have gone higher.

Even the sheath looks good! :)

Wow. The price more than doubled since I made the original post here. Now I'm really flabbergasted.

Ooooh, I'm sick...

Do you guys know how many 110's from that era my friends and MYSELF have tortured, stabbed through bean cans, dressed deer and hung on belts as we rode our bikes hundreds of miles in the rain?

You say 16 dollars? When I arrived in Madison in the fall of 1968, I bought a 110 at the old Berg Pearson's for 9 dollars, with the leather sheath.

I was not a knife collector then, and if the knife got really lucky, I oiled it as the seasons changed. I treated it like kitchen silverware, in fact, I used it as silverware!

And then, AND THEN, I got a white collar job, AND GAVE IT AWAY. Story of my life, in the 1970's I once turned down an .44 Auto Mag for 350 bucks.
