Classic carving set in Stag and damascus

I wanted to share some images of a custom order I just finished for a VERY patient client. Its a bit overdue. Yet I think hes gona agree it was worth the wait!

Blade is San Mai 1095 core with carbon damascus blade. RC 61. 270mm blade. Stag with Mokume cap.

Fork is high carbon damascus RC 54 approx 250mm from cap to tip. Stag and mokume handle.

Those are beautiful. I'd like to see wider spacing on the fork tines though. Makes it easier to hold the dead animal steady while you carve it. :D

As far as the width of the fork. These have to go into a pre designed custom made knife block. :)

There will be many knives in this large block. of them only these 2 will be of this design. There are 3 other HHH Kitchen knives in the block already. Mammoth ivory on one. Walrus ivory on another. and Musk ox horn on the third.
