These can't be just any ole funny movies...but the ones that made you chuckle the whole movie...or laugh so hard you cried...the ones that that bring out the Belly Laughs....:D

I'll keep this first post updated.

Airplane is the first one that comes to mind.

"Looks like I picked a bad day to stop sniffing glue".

BTW, why did you choose Christmas Vacation and not Vacation? Not that I can stomach very much of Chevy Chase in either case, but.... :D

The hardest and longest I ever remember laughing was a Marx Brothers Film Festival. my wife and a bunch of friends sat in the first row.
Duck Soup, Horse Feathers, and Animal Crackers back to back, we laughed until we cried.

Pretty close after that would have to be Monty Python, "Holy Grail" and "Life of Brian".

Marx Bros - A Night at the Opera

Spinal Tap

2 great old Woody Allen movies -

Bananas
Take the Money and Run

also

The In Laws (original version w/ Peter Falk)

The Court Jester and The Inspector General. Danny Kaye was a triple threat-he could act, he could sing, and he could dance.

The Naked Gun. IMO, the first one was one of the funniest in a long time.
I also really like Groundhog Day! (not as funny, but a great movie!)
BEAN was REALLY, REALLY, REALLY funny. Johnie English, too, funny, but not quite as good.

Mel Brooks films up till History Of The World , Then he went to Crap

Abbot and Costello
Laurel and HArdy
Three Stooges
Lewis and Martin
Marx Brothers
Monty Python

Marx Brothers type movie--Brain Donors

Paul

The Return of the Living Dead: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089907/

My brothers and I were in to renting crappy horror movies, and loved this one. We watched it three times, back to back to back. We still use some of the one-liners out of it, and it's been 20 years.

...that haven't already been mentioned:

"The In-Laws" (original)
"Real Men" (totally unappreciated)
"Big Trouble"

Blazing Saddles, of course!;)

Blues Brothers
Animal House
Raising Arizona
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
