Since erricson, and frosts merged to form Mora of sweden. I noticed that the classic (wooden handled line) no longer has a full tang..anybody out there no how long it extends? and how tough these are in comparison to older through tang models?

Good question! I didn't realize that they changed it since the merger. Now I wish I had gotten my hands on a few of them before the change. They've changed the #1 and took away my 510s! What's next?

The 780 Triflex Craftsman is next. Someone on BCUSA reported it a week or so ago. Replaced by the Bushcraft Triflex.

I just got the #510s with the guard...took 2 minutes with a pair of loppers and a sanding pad to turn it to a #510....hey that may make a funny video.

I heard the clipper might be up on the block soon to be replaced by the craftline models.....I emailed Mora of sweden to find out about which current models have th elongest tangs.. I;m awaiting a reply but will report back when I get one...the #1 and the 510's where a couple of my fav's I was sad to see them go.....
I'm liking the look of the new bushcraft triflex and force models.... If I can ascertain tang length I'll get me a few.. but they lack the wooden organic feel of a good ole #1
