Which combo would you prefer.

Classic with blue ti lug

Classic with silver ti lug

21 with blue ti lug

21 with silver ti lug

I'm just curious. I had a 21 with blue ti and loved it. Now I have a Classic Micarta with silver ti and I think I preferred the blue ti.

Does the micarta change your mind about which color ti? I haven't received the knife yet. Maybe it'll look better with silver because of the micarta? I hadn't thought of that... Hmm...

The Blue and Gold thumbstuds wear off over time from use. The silver on the other hand always looks the same. For certain knives like the micarta inlays, the silver contrast and reverse silver contrast UG I think the silver looks the best. For the colored UG/CGG, the blue adds to the blue colors in most designs. I never minded the blue rubbing off because nothing looks better than a sebenza that has been used. Heck, if you have a safe queen that you are always looking at and opening and closing, the color will wear off too. You really cant go wrong with both, its just that some studs go with color schemes. I have a large bocote inlay and the gold standoffs add to it. You can never go wrong with just the silver ones though as they look universally good on pretty much all sebenzas.

silver for me, then gold/bronze and blue

silver just looks more normal and more suited on my micarta and diamond plate cgg but i'd see it good with all versions, the gold or better said, bronze/brass on my ebony looks pretty good with the wood (it's not shiny) and make the knife very classy
the blue one makes the knife look less threatening maybe, or at least that's what blue, white, orange do...but hey, the seb has a clean non threatening design anyways!

I think I prefer silver these days, but I remember when the blue studs first came out, I couldn't wait to get one.

I really like both. Its hard to choose sometimes. I do think that a plain jane regular with a big ol raindrop blade AND blue stud looks extra sweet;)
