Classic Rats, The Rat Hunter

Allrighty, lotsa talk about modern Rats, hows about some classics you dont hear about too often: Rat Hunter!



Lets see yours! I did a run of sheaths for these when they first came out that really turned my design philosophy in a huge way, it was the first of the round topped Randall style sheaths that I ever did. I still do that pattern on occasion, but of course cant find a picture when I want it.

Very cool! You got the original, actually pre-original! I sent that one to Eric for approval of the design.

Also nifty to see the difference in the reddish desert tan micarta and the tannish desert tan micarta. I've got three different tan micarta handles, and at least a half dozen different tan micartas through the years. It really makes for a fun hunt.

The hunt was an excruciating fun... With most I had lost hope I'd ever manage to get them at some point, but...

Yes...yes they would Elof! But, those are some of my favorites, so I'm a little biased.

The DJ and MM have had mineral oil on them in the past, but they're relatively dry in those pics.
