This one was a request for a client who wanted his first custom knife. He has a collection of antique knives, most of them english... and that's what he wanted for his folder.

The shape is similar to some Rodgers models. But we wanted to put some modernity, so damasteel and mammoth ivory was the choice for materials.

It's a tail lock folder with Rose Damasteel blade and bolsters (ligth etched), stainless liners with a vine filework and jeweled inside.
The lock and pivot pin are 420 stainless, the rest are nicke lsilver pins with rounded heads.
Scales are cracked mammoth ivory bark, with a sterling silver plate.

Blade length: 95 mm / 3 3/4"
Closed length: 123 mm / 4 7/8"

Hope you like it!

Javi

I'm not familiar with the tail lock but what a great looking knife. The materials and craftsmanship appear to compliment each other nicely. Congrats!

Very nice folder! Lovely combination of materials.

Beautiful.

Kind regards,

Jos

Wow, love the damasteel and the mammoth, file work looks great. Very well executed. Cheers, Kris

all I can say is WOW!

What a stellar looking knife. Is the tail lock like a straight plunge lock along the spine? Or does it pivot up like a lock back? I would like to see how the lock worked.

Any way it works, I sure and jealous!

Thanks everyone!

It's just like a lock back (you can see the pivot up in the middle), but is one single piece all the way, and the spring is hidden inside. So you can't see anything but the spine/lock. I hope I've explained ok...
