Classic tanto construction question

Are the tanto with the brass pommel threaded or screwed on? I have one that is slightly misaligned and was wondering if it could be tweaked.

Yes, as far as I know. Years ago I had bought a blade/guard/pommel off ebay and had a new handle put on it. It was definitely threaded. That one came already apart, so no idea if they used any kind of thread-locker.
