Got this in a trade recently... This is an oldie folks... A Tom Mayo fixed blade... I know virtually nothing about it apart from that Tom made it, and it's gotta be from a while back. It's clearly been loved and used, but it's still a great EDC piece... even came with a lefty carry sheath ;-)

Great score!

When I took on the responsibilities as the President of the Schofield Rod & Gun Club (Tom was an associate member) on Schofield Barracks, Hi twenty years ago when no one else was willing and right after I arrived on the island, Tom offered to make me a knife cheap for stepping up. I gave him a design/drawing, and he talked me into some changes. Not too long after, he delivered this. Hollow ground ATS34 with ergonomic micarta grips that literally fill the hand. And I too have a left handed left side canted sheath which can also be used as a right side cross draw sheath. I was particular about the sheath.

That is very cool, I'm guessing this knife (kinda looks like a bird and trout eh?) is ATS34 as well.
