Can someone please tell me the difference between the Classic and the 21. And which is the most recent version? Thanks!

They are pretty similar, in fact I can't tell the two apart if you are looking at the front scale. The 21 is the more recent version.

Yeah... the 21 is the current version. I've had both in small size and probably could't tell them apart without looking at the backside scale. They felt and looked the same to me from the front.

The indentation in the handle where the thumb stud is location is different. On the 21 it's like a half moon cut-out, on the classic it's got a some type of pattern.
That's the only thing I can think of.

The edges on the 21 by the pivot are "pointed" a bit more to make it easier to get into your pocket

This is actually wrong. The indentation in the handle near the thumbstud is identical on the 21 and Classic. You're thinking of the Regular.

Hey Humpie--- The Regular IS the Sebenza.

Not true. If anything, the Classic is "the" Sebenza. If you look back to Chris's original Sebenza design, back when it was still handmade, the full-size Classic matches that design most closely. The Regular was a much modified design produced in response to users who requested certain features.

@ OP: The Classic and the 21 are very similar and are generally identical in design and function. The Classic has "Classic MM" written around the pivot on the locking scale, "MM" being the Roman numeral for "2000", the year the Classic was released. The 21 has a slightly steeper bevel on the front edges of the handle (near the pivot) to allow the knife to be more easily inserted into a pocket. I have a Small 21 and I personally prefer this design.
