Classic vs 21

The perhaps the biggest and most notable difference is the rounded lockbar.

That is actually the reason why I prefer Classic's over the 21. It really does make it less strenuous on your fingers to close. But YMMV.
 
on the 21 the area around the pivot is shaved back to make it enter the pocket more smoothly. It works and makes the classic seem slightly beefy-er. If you find and older classic, 03 and before, the blade profile is bigger, between today's 21 and a regular. And this is a very un scientific finding: the inlays are better on classics, not a manufacturing thing just better wood,dramatic grain, smoother feel etc. If you do a search you will find members that think the classic is smoother, I don't agree but the smoothest sebenza I own is an 08 classic. I think it is more broken in, they are all smooth with only a micro % difference, that only the most crazed CRKer would detect.
