Classic Vs Regular: Small size (Blade profile)

I've just recieved my first Sebenza after many years of putting it off and I'm extremely happy.

However I'm a little confused -

I seem to recall when I looked at the knives in the past their was a noticeable difference between the blade profile of the classic and the regular, rather than just a difference in the handle, however looking at pictures now I'm finding it extremely difficult to differentiate between models.

For example the pics here of the small reg and classic:

If anything it seems like the 'spine' of the blade is shorter on the classics (at least the portion before the blade angles downward towards the tip)?

Looking at the pictures of the Large classic and regular Sebenzas, it seems as if the blade profile differences are much more noticeable?

Could anyone please set me straight here, possibly with a side by side of (small reg and classic) as I'm staring at lots of pictures of small sebenzas from different angles and its starting to confuse me slightly.

Additionally, this is what I've received :)

I believe that its a small regular sebenza. With a small regular blade and regular handle.

Could someone confirm that.

Sorry, to be a pain, just all the pictures have me a little bit in a daze.

with the larges, the difference is fairly obvious.

on the smalls i have seen the blades look very similar.

Yes that is a small regular with a regular blade! I have one just like it, wonderful little knife!

Yes Sir, your right the blade shapes are different for the models, and in case your wondering - they are not interchangable (unless you are a bladesmith, or would risk a mod)

The Classic version blades are a little longer than their regular counterparts.

Best way to describe the difference in a nutshell, is the Regular versions seem to have more belly up to the tip, and the tip is a little thicker.

If you notice the geometry of the spine, there are 2 slight "peaks" in the spine, 1 where the thumb jimping ends, 1 between the jimping and the tip.

On the Classic, the peak between the jimping and the tip is closer to the jimping and so it drops towards the spine earlier. This is what makes the spine look shorter and also why the tip is pointier.

The Regular has the peak closer to the tip.

Maybe it is a little easier to see the differences in this photo. As MORIMOTOM mentioned,
the differences in the blades on the small Sebenzas are not so easy to see.
