Is the wood stabalized on the classic wood Sebbies? I am carrying my new Ebony wood and wan't to make sure there isn't any special care I need to take with this knife. I don't want to worry about the wood chipping (I don't think I would really do anything to chip the wood) but, is it strong? I have heard that stabalized wood is almost like plastic. Any thoughts?

I belive not all of the wood options are made with stabilized injection. If the wood is very oily or dense it may not be treated. I suggest you check with CRK for questions on the Ebony.

I dont think you have anything to worry about with the wood. I've read some other posts here and at KF and I dont think anyone has ever mentioned an issue.
I have a Small Classic with Bocote in lays and it gets EDC'd in its turn and no problems here. FWIW, I carry it in my front pocket.
