I just received this today and it's a marvelous and special piece from Claude.....it's the very first one with a hamon and done by none other than Brother Sam Lurquin.

The fit, finish, grinds, sculpting of the amazing haft, to unparalleled sharpness, plus a superb sheath makes for 'The Total Package'.... :)

You are marching with class there, Dudley! That is an awesome piece.

I'll bet it feels great in hand. Claude does outstanding work.

Incredible knife, in all respects. Love the blade profile and grind. The handle seems perfect for that blade style. The hamon sure does add some nice character. Congratulations Dudley. Mike

Very nice, flowing design very well done. The collaboration on the hamon really pulls it up a notch. It looks quite comfortable nestled in between its cousins. Congratulations.

That knife is so special on so many levels!

Congrats Dudley!
