If you're interested in finger-hole knives with claw blades you should also check out the two below.

I haven't used the Bear Claw or Badge Knife so I can't tell you much about them.

Good luck!

Welcome to the forums. Well I don't have "complete" stats, but here goes: The S/W is made out of 440C with an overall length of 5.5 inches and weights 2.18 oz.

The CRKT is made out of AUS6m no overall size given and weight is 2.9oz.

I guess it comes down to what you like. I have not handled either knife, but I would give CRKT the edge just on the fact that they make great knives for a decent price. I am not fond of S/W knives (great revolvers) but I don't care for the knives.

If I was looking for a neck knife I would check out the Emerson LA GRIFFE. It's made out of 154CM which is much better steel than the other two. The handle design looks less bulky. Emerson is known for making a pretty good product.

I have the crkt beaclaw, though I had to polish the bead blast off. wore it as a necker and it rusted by the time I got home.

I checked out both (and the Emerson) and then bought the S&W. It has a comfortable handle that is smaller than the bulky CRKT but much more substantial than the emerson, plus the thumb ramp made it feel the best of the 3 in my hand. The sheath is cheap but so what, you can make your own from a sheet of kydex if you really need to. No rust problems on the black finish, & I prefer the dual grind to emerson's chisel grind, and I think the blade is longer than the emerson, although the emerson is lighter and will print less under clothing. This is an AWESOME SD knife, which is what I reserve it for, so I can't speak to its utility for daily tasks or how well the steel holds up. But I went with the S&W. My .02

Just for follow up, you can check out the Emerson La Griffe pictures and a review on the Knife Review Forum, it's titled "Right Side of the La Griffe. The second person who posted has a review that you can click on and read up on the knife.

I have also bought the S&W. The knife itself seems pretty nice to me, however the sheath is pretty bad. I tried wearing it as a neck knife but it was not comfortable, plus once I was running and the knife fell out. The belt clip is also not that great. I think the best way to carry it is to carry the sheath in a pocket with the knife in it. It's not hard to take off one-handed.

This is totally off-topic (sorry), but I have a S&W HRT(DR) "fighter", and I have to agree with the above, that although the S&W knives are pretty decent (I really love my HRTDR), their "plastic" sheaths SUCK!...They NEED to be kydex (or concealex) and fit better (tighter).

...Sorry for the rant...;).
