Clay and Chuck,
It was a pleasure meeting both of you!
If you're are a fan of the Bali, you owe it to yourself to somehow meet these guys in person.
I'm not sure what was more exiting. Watching them "perform" or the looks on peoples faces that gathered to watch!!
I haven't put my Bali's down since I returned from the show! I have a 42 on order and can't wait to get it. Maybe I should order two so I can start using both hands???

It definitely was a pleasure to also meet you Dr. Lathe. I too was treated to a demo of the outstanding dexterity of the dazzling duo. Su was also with them but they wouldn't let him play with the toys.
The custom mades were especially beautiful to look at and hold.
I would like to thank all that stopped and at my table and visited. It was a very delightful experience.
Take care and God Bless.

I'm sure Chuck and Su will agree with me when I say, the pleasure was all ours.

It was great to have you two very talented knife makers listen to us talk about our favorite type of knife.

We've been on a mission to bring these knives back to their much deserved popularity, and it was great to see the interest you guys showed.

Think of it from our point of view for a second. There are about 10,000+ different fixed blades, and folders available to the general knife enthusiast.

But, for the Balisong fans........... Benchmade is the only real game in town. There are a few cheap imports, and the Filippino hand mades (not great, but OK), but not much that will take the torture of what we do.

Thanx again for showing your interest.

getting 'em open
is half the fun!

Well thanks for your fine compliments.

I certainly enjoyed meeting so many people. The whole show left me speechless, literally.
I'll be in touch with both of you about some custom balisongs. Based on the work I've seen you do and based on our discussions, I'm convinced that you both can make fine balisongs.

I know that trying to hold a conversation with someone who can barely whisper in a noisey hall is difficult. Let's carry on by e-mail, eh?

Anyway, it was a great show and I enjoyed meeting both of you.

Clay, Chuck, had a blast meeting you guys in Ruby's. We'll do it again for sure.

Gonna have to get my Janich tape out and start practicing with that #44 again!

Well Blues, it is a small world, eh?

Put Mr. Janich's tape aside and just use Clay's site.

But, don't practice on the job.
