Specs;

0.35 # -0.4 # thick handle ( about 0.5 mm thicker than the Subcomline)

6.5 # when opened

3.7 # closed

Flatgrind

440C bladesteel

One Teflonwasher and Bronze washer at G10- steel linered side
One Bronzewasher at Steel Framelock side ( smaller sized washer)

Very smooth Blade action. A tad smoother as on Subcoms.

Good centered blade between the handle slabs.
Excellent overall fit and finish.

Lowrider SteelClip !!! Same finish as on blade and Steelslab of handle .
The colour of the finish on the Blade is darker as on the handle and clip.
According to my knowledge they used Titanium finish. Probably TiN titanium nitridide (very tuff stuff). Terry or Tobias may know more on this subject? On the Ce version a black powder coat under the Ti finish.

Razorsharpe.

Thanks again Chad & Boker for an excellent one;).

That's a darn good look'n knife! Overall, how could anyone resist getting one? You'll enjoy that little knife! Good on ya!

Some more pics for size :

Tried to capture the blade finish but poor lighting; in daylight the finish looks a bit lighter coloured.

The recurve on the blade is gentle; not too pronounced. The grind is high, about the same as on the Subclaw.

It has double thumbstuds so ambidax although the clip is only mounted for right side tip up or down carry. No screwthreads on the g10 part.

Forgot to mention the bladelength (only the blade) 2.8 #

Could not detect any bladeplay horizontal or vertical: rocksolid lockup.

Nice jimping on the spine and top of the handle.

Open construction ; should be easy to clean the knive.

T6 and T8 torx set required to dismantle.

The steel linered G10 slab is a tiny bit thicker as on the Subcom line.

Great pics! Do you think Boker will ever do a chisel grind tanto style? I think that would work. Happy holidays!

It feels great in hand. I have small to medium handsize.

For Clositlidsize mits i would recommand a small knotted Fob. ;)

Tanto probably yes like on the MPT. Chisel i doubt it. You don't see them often on knives. Edge retention probably less with Chiselgrinds . ;)

Thanks for the looks and the review, Maarten, they sure look good.
Can't wait till they are available. The "low rider" clip looks intresting.

Nice pics and an even better review!

The only problem is that I want one but don't have any funds...:grumpy::D

3M---Sell one to get one! That works. That Boker line of knives is really nice.
