Hi Guys (and Girls)

I love my Magnum, and I love it use it, but it gets dirty. :D When I chop/split wood, the coating get covered in wood dust type stuff. It gets caught in the coarse desert coating, and it wont come out with soap and water and a scrubber brush. My mom does most of the cleaning in my house :p so I asked her what to to. She said to try an old toothbrush. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

A fresh one??? Got a sibling you need revenge on??

The Desert is probably the coarsest finish, so naturally it is going to hold debris more readily than any other. Nylon brush, either tooth or otherwise should work.

Don't forget to floss the choil.... ;)

For wood sap and the like i've found that a decent oiling and wipedown after a days work takes most (if not all) of it off. This is one of those situations where WD-40 or a any decent penetrating oil works good.

I’ve successfully cleaned mine up with using hot water and dish washing liquid.

That has been for wood sap and dried blood
Ian.
