Clean a lint brush with your knife.

Hi folks,

Has anybody tried to clean (de-lint?) a velvet type lint brush with a knife. It works well. A stropping motion on lint brush will sweep the lint to one edge of the brush and the knife actually sharpens due to the stopping.

That's an interesting thought. I've always noticed how quickly lint collects on the upward side of a blade, when stropped on my jeans or other fabric. Never would've considered using that to advantage to 'de-lint' a lint brush. :thumbup:

(Knowing me, I'd de-lint the brush with the blade, then de-lint the blade by wiping on my jeans. Then, I'd de-lint my jeans with the lint brush... )
