i just got myself a Wharnie Spyderco urban in orange G10 and i noticed that as i pulled it out of my ratty old black jeans pocket the Grippy G10 took some black along with it ive tried scrubbing with water to no avail, what should i use to restore its orangey goodness?

Cheers!

A thick paste of baking soda and water is worth a try. Be sure and rinse THOROUGHLY with clean water, and flush with WD 40.

My Kershaw Zing with textured orange polymide(I think) scales has the same problem, i find that if i use about a spoonfull of dish soap and scrub a lot it usually gets most of it.. but it is a workout!

If that is the case, then add enough baking soda to soap and water to make a thick paste, and scrub with it. Baking soda is wonderfully useful stuff. It will also clean jewelry when used this way.
