I would like to make a clean cut prune on all types of small branches in a single swipe. Would the large tooth Silky Landscaping Hand Saw work well for 5/8 inch branches or would the medium tooth be a better choice?. I want to leave a clean collar and not strip the bark and do not want the blade to bounce when finding a grip on the wood. Any suggestions on how long of blade I would need would also be helpful. I am trying to choose between a Silky pocketboy 130 mm blade or longer.

I carry a Gomboy with large teeth when hiking. It cuts clean, but on a smaller green branch it will tend to tear up the bark as it cuts through the other side at the end.
