Clean Stag Handle

I have a Small Case xx peanut pocket knife. It has stag handles. I have carried this knife for some time now. The handles are starting to turn blue, I assume from my blue jeans. How can I clean or bring this back to original?

Also I am thinking of purchasing a mamoth ivory handle Case xx pocket knife. Will this do the same? If so what about cleaning also?

Once I mistakingly got some liquid machinist bluing on a piece of antler. It wicked deep in the antler and ruined it.
 
I would give it a soak in food grade mineral oil overnight the dye may come out. At least the oil will not hurt the knife. The oil may replace the surface dye and force it off. Worth a try

You should be able to find it in any drug store. The oil is good for the stag and bone handles, not to mention helping the joints.
