I was looking at some old Schrade knife catalog descriptions an in addition to the specs, handle material etc Isee the term Cleaned Inside. What does "Cleaned Inside" mean.
They buffed up the innards whereas the great unwashed showed uncleaned darkness. I think this might be the explanation? Just an added touch, along with the sometimes description of a blade being polished on one side.
That makes sense. I know first thing I do with most new knives is wash & flush them out then oil. Must have been Schrade's way of saying that they went an extra step.
