Cleaning 420hc

Okay Buck brothers, the steel on alot of my Bucks gets like a cloudy film on it. I have tried Rem oil, wd40, soap and water, mag wheel cleaner, metal polish and nothing seems to work. Anyone have any tried and true cleaning methods. Thanks in advance.

I use a polishing paste called super premium polishing paste. Very cheap. Look on smkw.com one tube has lasted me several years. Works great on all metals

Bush, I haven't noted what you speak of. It doesn't appear on my knives. Buck's kitchen knives set we have and they are 420 steel and I've not seen this occur on them. DM
