Found a good deal on fleabay for a LNIB P'kal.
The knife is in LN condition but has been carried for some time and accumulated lint and such making the opening and closing feel a bit gritty.

Can it be taken apart and cleaned or will springs go flying in the axis lock?

Any help appreciated.

soap and hot water, a little high quality lube in the pivot and some compressed air or a hair dryer you should be good to go...

There is a spring that can and most often will go flying. Qtip with some oil to clean it.

Thanks guys!

Worked like a charm, smooth as glass now.

Really impressed with this knife so far.
