I have an antique dagger that I need to get cleaned. Is there anyone out there who lives in Atlanta northeast area who can chat about local options on getting this done? I am guessing knife hasn't been cleaned in over 60 years. I am sure it would be best to get an experienced person to help with cleaning, as I am sure I might damage trying to do it. Thanks for your insight.

Post sharp pictures of it here.
It is not generally advisable to clean antiques at all. If cleaning is done, and the piece is valuable or significant, the cleaning should be done professionally.

I am working on the image. I only see ability to link to pic url in post replies, so working on that. Thanks for your attention to my question...:o

i agree, depending on the age and history of the antique you probably shouldnt clean it at all.
