Well, no good weather for 3-4 days, so I'll put these dark ones up to finish this/
I had receives an 882 Tarani with an ATS-34 blade. The stock blade on the 889 is 420HC. Not bad steel, just not as good as ATS-34.
Here are pics of the 882.
I finally dug my old Buck Strider out and took it apart... any recommendations for cleaning it up?
It's not in bad condition. The action seems a little tight on the lock... kind of hard to unlock it. Is there a way to "bend it back" or something to make it easier to unlock it.
What's good to use to clean up the blade? It's the ATS-34 steel. There's a little pitting but overall not bad.
I'm not looking to do a major overhaul... this is the first time I've taken a knife apart as it is.
