Cleaning Cord Wrap

Now I wish I had taken before pictures...but the tan cord on my Izula was looking pretty nasty...so was the blade. Soooo....I took the dawn to it, and then in thinking about bacteria I took the Lysol kitchen cleaner to it also and then soaked it in clean water for a while...looks almost like a new wrap.

Hmmm good to know that I can clean the wrap without having ot rewrap. Thanks for the thread!
 
you might want to unwrap it and make sure the etching(serial number) doesnt start to rust since you mentioned you soaked it in water

I hadn't thought about that, thanks. I may unwrap it and put a clear coat over the numbers since I have decided I do like it wrapped.
