I recently acquired a Custom Shop Batac with G-10 handles. They appear a little dull. Anyone experienced at freshening them up. Would plain soap and water and then a little mineral oil do it? Thanks:thumbup:

Do the soap and water, sometimes the shop dust can be built up on the slabs pretty good. And I have seen some Black G-10 on a few newer one's that was a bit dull looking and the cleaning didn't help.

Not sure the mineroil will help on g-10, and it won't soak it up like micarta, so it may leave handle slippery. It will wash off easy if you don't like it.

I've had the same problem with some of the newer black G10...seems to stay dull no matter what you try. If anyone has a solution...please share.
