Cleaning G10

For major dirt, soap and water and maybe a toothbrush. Remember, this stuff is fiberglass with an epoxy filler. Not entirely different from what many boats are made of. Water is fine on it.

Some folks panic about getting water in the pivots of a folding knife, for example. So, use compressed air (either a great excuse to buy the compressor you've always wanted (or goof up and buy a Kompressor instead... "Sorry, Dear, my mistake. To bad we can't take it back. I guess we're stuck with it. Well, I'll drive it so that you won't have to suffer.") or use that canned air stuff you can get inexpensively).

Believe it or not, I use WD-40 on G10. Spray it an wipe it dry. And no, it doesn't leave it slippery. It just makes it look very black.
