I dont keep magazines because I find myself looking at everybody elses cool knives and not getting anything done in my own shop. If any of the new makers want them I will send em for just postage. Mostly Blade and KI from 2000 until now.

Bruce, the picture of the pistol knife that is on your profile shows an underhammer. I couldn't find it on your site. Do you have a larger picture somewhere and maybe some construction details. Did you make the underhammer action from scratch or is one of Blue Grouse of H&A?

Thanks again Bruce. I've built a couple of underhammers but I purchased the hammer. I love the solution you came up with for the nammer nose. A rifle is one thing but to reduce it to the size you have is amazing. That has to be one of the finest works of art I've ever seen.

Peter, Thanks much for the compliment, I put too much time in this one but learned a bundle. I made each and every part except the nipple and liner. I have a book called the UnderHammer Gun. This is closest to a Cook design ignition.
