Cleaning ivory micarta scales on my TR3

Good day! - I recently got a new TR3 "Tuxedo" - meaning it has some ivory micarta scales inset. I didn't really order it that way, but PVK was out of the black and "upgraded" me. Although it is a minor annoyance, I have noticed that the scales discolor - that is a slight blackness like someone with greasy hands has used it, and it bugs me that it doesn't clean off. Any input on how to best clean and keep it from occuring again? I do carry it inside front pocket with no other "pocket filler" (change, keys, etc)

Try paste wax or neutral paste shoe polish.
If this doesn't remove the discoloration, use a thick paste of dish detergent, water and baking soda. Scrub it on the Micarta with your thumbs.
Then dry and wax.
