Well, I was feeling in the need to take the Khuks out to clean and oil them and decided to lay them out and take a few photos. This is the first one.:)

Great picture! What is that left-most khukuri, between the 15inch AK and the Kobra (or is that a skinny Chitlangi?)?

The left most khuk is my Reiger khukuri made by GH many moons ago, one of only two made. It is 18 1/2 OAL
The khuk above it is an 18" GH AK
the Khuk below it is a 18" GS by HI.

Edited to correct what was what after I looked at the pic closer.:o :footinmou

What a great collection. Thanks for the photo. How do you go about the cleaning process? Any special tricks, or do you just stack 'em in the dish washer, set it on "pot scrubber" and let 'er rip?:D

No I don't do anything special in the cleaning. I just clean off the old oil that collects dust and then reapply oil again. Here is a shot of the handles at a closer shot.

Nice collection! Not what a person who just caught "HIKV" needs to see. Especially when he's trying to balance the checkbook. May be a microwave burrito and raman noodle month. Oh well. BTDT before.:D :D
