Cleaning knives

Has anyone ever used zippo fluid to clean a knife I'm at work and that about all I have would it at least clean some gunk from my pivot

Sure, that'll work. Add a small drop of oil to the pivot when you get home & you're gtg.

Great for cleaning. Eats thru gunk and evaporates quick too. But it might remove any print on a the blade
