Cleaning/Maintaining Aluminum Knife Handle?

The current limited edition of the KA-BAR E.W. Stone Knife (detailed skull handle) comes with an aluminum skull handle. Are aluminum knife handles unusual? Any suggestions on the best way to clean/maintain aluminum knife handles? Monthly? Thank you

Aluminum s basically maintenance free. Clean it whenever you want.

Thank you, n7titan. That's also consistent with what Bill Stone just wrote: "You can maintain the aluminum handle by hand polishing with a soft cotton cloth such as a diaper. Simple hand rubbing will bring the shine back if it dulls." Thanks, again
