That’s fine. If it’s more dirty, just hot soapy water and a little oil.

As long as you are not using it for food items, that is fine. Otherwise soap and water, dry with a hair dryer, then a food safe lube.

I use BreakFree on all my knives. If doing food prep I just rinse the blade beforehand.
