Cleaning rabbit fur?

Has anybody ever cleaned the rabit fur on a rabbit fur bomber hat (this one is made by Columbia with natural rabbit fur)? I've worn it snowshoeing a couple times recently and the fur is starting to get all matted and nasty from sweat. I was thinking maybe just some water would do the trick, but maybe there is some special way to clean it or a good product for cleaning out there?

Take it to a dry cleaner and ask them if they can clean it. If they say no try a different dry cleaner. (There are different dry cleaning processes....)

Well, I brushed it with a natural brush and it seems to have at least got it looking normal again. Maybe I'll hold off until the end fo the season and try to find a dry cleaner.

Once there was a bear taking a dump in the forest. A rabbit walks by and the bear says, "Hey rabbit, does poo stick to your fur?"

"No," says rabbit.
"That's great!" says bear.

He picks up the rabbit and wipes his butt.
