I recently acquired another Camillus Cuda Maxx 5.5 with a D2 bowie blade. There's a few minor rust spots on the blade; and when I mean minor, I mean incredibly minor. Mostly darker color dots here and there that don't really even show up in photos.
However, I'd like to prevent these from getting bigger. Cleaning with soap&water and scraping it with my fingernails doesn't work, neither does cleaning the blade after oiling it first. Any way to get these discolored spots off short of taking some really fine steel wool to it?
