Cleaning the Micarta Inlay

Is there an easy way to clean the Micarta Inlay material?

I bought a used Small 21 and wanted to ask for any input if it needs to be cleaned.

Just put a little rubbing alcohol on a napkin and scrub away.

The alcohol will strip away any oils or dirt trapped in the micarta. The micarta will look kind of "faded" at first, but will gain it's color back in a day or so of use.

I use a drop of dishsoap on an old toothbrush, with hot water it gets the micarta looking dull grey and clean in seconds.

It will turn black again as soon as you get hand sweat, or any other oil, on the micarta.

Agree on the alcohol, easy, quick, and doesn't get to the pivot area.

Can you guys post before and after pics, im debating on getting a large micarta.
