Cleaning up an old Camillus

Found in my friend's Dad's garage.

Pretty keen to restore this to decent condition but no idea how to really go about it. Any tips on what (not) to do?

I think I'd soak it in some mineral oil and then give it a good solid wipe down with a cloth. Maybe even a few rounds of that. It is a nice knife and, imo anyway, it deserves to wear its years like a badge of honor.

If you want to try and make it shiny, use only elbow power. :thumbup:
