Cleaning up locktite

Blue or red? If it is still liquid try alcohol, once it dries the blue can also be dissolved with time and effort, but the red is just plain nasty. If you have dried on red locktite it is difficult to remove without damaging the surface underneath.

Go to the auto parts store, and buy a can of non chlorinated brake parts cleaner. Works like a charm. (Its basically Toluene in a spray can)

Be careful, though, as the stuff will eat certain plastics. it is G-10 friendly, but turns it splotchy until you rub it away with a cloth.

I use it as a general purpose degreaser/solvent, and it's much cheaper than gun scrubber, and related products.

Well I have dried up Blue locktite.
Code3: how well Zytel holds up on the touluene?
