Greetings fellow HOGs

I was going through the safe today and came across a Jackhammer I bought a Blade 2008. The blade has a nice sharp convex grind but came with a rough finish. Anyone have any ideas on how to clean this beauty up? It has not seen any use after the trip to FOGOs :D.

Loss cause Bro, time for the Exchange, just give me a heads up when its going up lol

I’ve had good results scouring CBT Competition Finish with 0000 steel wool and Hoppes #9 bore solvent. Finish up with Mr Clean Magic Eraser and Breafree CLP to protect the finish. There will still be some light discoloration, but smooth to the touch, even and shiny.

I believe the rough finish is competition finish. quick once over on the blade and factory convex edge.

I wouldn't put any effort into it if I were you I'd just dump it on the exchange and forget about it ;)- just ship it to me and I'll take care of it

I've had good results with Corrosion Block and Gibbs penetrant oil.
