cleaning woes

Well, I took my small classic apart and everything seemed to go well. I was very careful to replace the washers in the same direction they came out. I didn't over tighten the screws. I lubed everything with Tuf Lube (had it on hand). Now the action is tight and rough. I know this was posted before -- but I think I tried to avoid all the mistakes I've heard people make.

I think I'm going to ship it back for dual thumbstuds tomorrow -- but what should I do differently next time?

Hi! The first time I took my Seb apart I didn't get the washers perfectly centered which caused it to be tight and rough. See if they are sitting FLAT on the Ti handel. Good Luck!

92, Skag is right buuuuuuuuuuuut, once the washer(s) have been distorted, you need new ones. I had the same problem a ways back with the large and a trip to the Sebenza ER was in order. New washers and very careful assembly will solve the problem if you feel like doing it yourself.
