Cleaning your spyderco

Just got my first spyderco a week ago (a manix2) and I absolutely love it. I have a quick question for the community though. How should I go about cleaning sand out from where the bolt holds the knife in place? Thanks!

warm to hot water, soap, rinse, and dry

I also find that an old toothbrush helps out as well. It wouldn't hurt to blow it out with compressed air when you're done. Then lightly lube and you're good to go!
