How do I clean rust off the blade and the stuff on the handle and where can I get a new pocket clip

That isn't rust on the handle and I can't see any pictures of the blade but if it's the same then you just have to clean it off using a chemical of some sort, depending on what is. It looks like ink, tar or oil of some sort to me. You can also get a new clip from CRK.

^^ This ^^ If it is a Sebenza, it has titanium scales - they don't rust. Just clean with goo-gone or goof-off. Something looks funny with those photo's though, especially the sharp steps on the thumb stud and the blade grind.

Simple Green, Flitz, Dawn or even Wendex

Thought of two more Rubbing alcohol and lighter fluid

Now I see the blade picture I agree, there is something not right there. Is there a reason we are only seeing parts of the knife and not a picture of the whole thing I wonder......

What are you thinking? Those are the parts that are dirty the whole knife isn't

Stainless blades should not rust. I'm curious about this knife. The screws appear to be torx. The blade grind angle is not right near the handle. It looks curved, while a sebenza 21 is straight. The material behind the grind is also visible, while on ky sebenza the scales extend beyond this point. The shot of the lanyard pin also looks a bit odd as it is dished without the rise in the center. Also on my Sebenza the cutting edge of the blade is not visible through the alignment hole.

Is this truly a Sebenza or a clone? If it is a Sebenza, what generation, and blade material?

Please show pics of the whole knife.

I'm thinking your knife is fake and you don't want to post a full picture as it will be obvious. The blade on that knife was not made by CRK or at least it looks a lot like the blades seen on other fake knives.

Posting a fake knife in a manufacturers forum presenting it as real is a rather poor show.

The knife he is asking about isn't fishy at all, it's a fake and there is really no getting round that.

Aren't you the same guy that posted that thread begging for free knives?

Perhaps the OP wasn't aware and the poor guy got taken?
Maybe ya knew and wanted to see if you could pass it off in here for some sort of conformation that it is just as good as the real deal?

Inquiring minds want to know....

And here comes haze again. The guy asks for help in cleaning and look out, haze to the rescue. Why don't you try answering his question. You have no proof that he is trying to pass off a fake knife. He wanted cleaning tips.

Lighter fluid is a great idea as well as rubbing alcohol.

Sorry who are you ? The knife is clearly fake and his motivations for posting "peek" shots of it here are as yet unclear. I suggest you sit down and be quiet, my good man.

^^^ read there for who I am. He didnt try to pass it off, he said nothing. The man wanted cleaning help and tips. Why couldn't you offer help if you know so much? I think you should back off your accusations and re-read the OP.

I did answer his question if you bother to read the 2nd post.

We take a very dim view or fake knives here so as I say cool your jets and keep stepping.....

The knife that the OP has an issue with is a knock off counterfeit sebenza. So whenever the OP has an issue with a real Chris Reeve product I'm sure the good people here will be more then happy to help him out.

This thread should be reported and locked down. Coming in here and asking for help with a fake knife is just bad taste in my opinion.
And he should know that it's a fake because he has what appears to be a real Micarta Sebenza in one of the pictures.
