Clear/translucent G-10?

Lately I keep seeing this stuff show up all over the place. I had a piece from Kit Carson eons ago, but didn't like it then (also didn't bother to finish it properly, which is probably why!). So, where is everyone getting this clear/translucent G-10 from? I've seen it in what looks in pictures to be tinged a little on the yellowish (more creamy, I guess) side to a sort of sea foam green tinge. Where can I get some?

No one knows, huh? I looked all over the Internet for it and couldn't find it, but it's out there! BTTT

Someone asked that somewhere else and they said that McMasters-Carr (sp?) had it. Let me know if you locate some -- it would be fun to play with.

McMaster-Carr just lists "opaque" green. I've seen stuff that is pretty green solidly through it, as well as the more translucent stuff, so if I had to guess I'd say this isn't it. Maybe I'll just email these guys and find out where they're getting it. Duh.

I only recently had the epiphany of realising what G10 actually is! For them as don't already know, G10 is the non-fire retardant version of FR4, which is the standard glass-filled PCB laminate used these days... The colour of most of the stuff I use is translucent green.

I don't tend to see thick slabs of FR4, but I guess someone is using them. High voltage applications, possibly?

I get mine from MSC. It's listed as G10/FR4 LAMINATE SHEET in their catalog.
Costs about the same as base priced micarta. I finish it to about 400 grit and then buff with light passes at 1725 with pink compound from POP. Don't get it hot. Still has pretty good grip texture when buffed and looks much better than sanded matte. I attached an example.
