:D anyway, sharking successful.

Did I read that right? 75 bucks on a 28 ounce knife?
Beam me up, Scotty.

Someone is going to score.

it's MINE MINE MINE :) as well as that little red guy, but i would have preferred the little black one.

 But I thought I was getting the red one? :( or has Yangdu sold a third Sgt. Khadka today?

Yeah, they sure did! And I may be wrong but I don't recall ever seeing a BGRS by Kumar. Bura is the usual guy, and every once in a while Sher does a Villager, but that's not one of Kumar's regular models. Got some bragging rights there. Nice snag Bladite.

Talked to Yangdu and she confirmed that I got the WWII. My birthday present!

Sweet! That's the one I would have liked to have grabbed, but these irritating bills take priority for the next 10 days or so. I tried tearing them up but they keep coming. ;)

Dang! I was out hiking and the ~18" GRS finally showed up. But you just can't sit in front of the terminal every day. Congrats Bladite. I think you got yourself a winner. :)

Nothing wrong about being out hiking. That's immunity from the pressure of khuk buys in my book.

so on the maker's marks... bura vs sher? ... i have a villager BAS from a few weeks ago (so long) that has bura's Devanagari on the right side of the blade (gathered from the HI page and another page i found with the kami marks)... and no initial or anything on the left side, except in what LOOKS like Devanagari, but doesn't match any characters i've found, but has a kami mark...

the standard sher mark i've looked up appears to be a kinda of crescent (both sides of which are curves- (c sort of effect) with rays... the other variation is a perfect half circle, with a flat bottom, and ray coming out the outer curved side. different. the villager has the latter type. i have a sher with the former type. clue?

as for the GRS - well :> more kukri to love :) and for kukri's that aren't, yay. i gave my prior sgt khadka to a good friend tonite. good home :)
