Hello gentleman, and possibly hairy ladies, I have been looking for a slick type of case for my straight razor, I really like the design of those cardboard boxes that the antique ones came in. (maybe some new ones too) There are a couple on eBay, but im not gonna pay 6$ for a cardboard box that measures 3/4" by 1/4" by 4" that is barely intact and doesn't seem like it would do well in your pocket, at all.. So I am curious to if anyone has any cool little cases like that they made or bought. If so post some pics fellas!
Secondly, I don't know why... but I cant find barely ANY unique and artistic straight razors. Dont get me wrong a lot are very beautiful, but it seems almost impossible to find straight razors that look, some what out of the ordinary. the reason I ask is im making a really cool Fancy-ish, Gothic, pointy, fileworked, twisted looking Straight razor. The only one that comes maybe 2% similar is one of Butch Harners razors, but it is a lot different. I have been searching low and high for some out of the ordinary straight razors with no success. I need some inspiration for a out of the ordinary handle for mine, the normal everyday straight razor handle just aint enough for my razor im looking to make. So if anyone has any links or photos to some super artistic, unique, out of the ordinary straight razors. it would be great for my inspiration and I will be so grateful! I'm desperate for some fanciness!
