For those who might occasionally "share" files over FTP or whatever, it may be that that download you've taken umpteen hours to obtain may not open or run properly.
This little program examines the file, determines what codec it needs to run (both audio and visual) and checks your rig for the codec.
If you don't have it, it gives you a little "thumbs down" symbol, and has a button that automatically searches for a download location.
Works like a charm, and it's free as well.
